Billy Mavreas lives in Montréal where he is the proprietor of Monastiraki Boutique, an avant- garde flea market/art gallery. A prolific artist who always has ten to twenty projects on the go at one time, Billy makes visual poetry, comix, chapbooks, posters, drawings, and more drawings. He has shown his work world-wide in anthologies from Canada, the United States, France, and, for a special edition covering the Montréal scene, in Stripburger, published in Ljubljana, Slovenia. His book The Overlords of Glee, published by Conundrum Press, is a collection of 80 pages of comics dating back to 1998. For the Hell Passport Project, Billy has made a book of commentary that assembles stories and myths and images of all things hellish.
